Sarah Theismann, MA

Certified Facilitator
through the Castellino Training

Born to a German father and Hungarian mother, Sarah grew up in the Alps in Germany and Austria. She studied art, movement and dance in Munich. After moving to California in 2001, she began to pursue studies of healing through the body: she became a Pilates and Yoga instructor, pursued a B.F.A. in Painting and Performance and attended the Tamalpa Institute (movement based expressive arts therapy) as well as holistic massage school. During this period she also obtained her Certificate as a Sexological Bodyworker from the Institute for Advanced Studies of Human Sexuality in San Francisco and studied varied approaches to sex coaching.

She found the true foundation of her work with clients in her studies of Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing™ and Ray Castellino's Prenatal and Birth Trauma Therapy. Deepening her commitment to healing through the body, she obtained an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Somatic and Pre/Perinatal Psychology.

Scott Engler, MA, BCST, RCST

Certified Facilitator
through the Castellino Training

Scott Engler, MA, BCST, RCST®, supports adults, children, and infants experiencing physical symptoms, stress, or recovering from trauma using gentle, non-invasive touch. His training includes certificates in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Castellino Prenatal & Birth Therapy, Lomi Somatic Education, and Massage.

While growing up in a Northern California state park, Scott first encountered the feeling of wholeness and healing found in the rhythms of nature he could turn to when challenged by life. Scott was fortunate to meet a number of attentive, nurturing teachers in the process of his education, enthusing him with a love of learning and the desire to teach with the same quality of support he received. Now for over twenty years Scott has been a student of presence and the nature of healing.

Lin Vermeiren

Certified Facilitator
through the Castellino Training

While taking my first steps as a Craniosacral therapist I discovered the importance – and omnipresence in the therapeutical explorations – of the implicit memories of our life in the womb and our birth process. My path gently opened up towards working more with pregnant women, babies and couples with conception challenges.

A miscarriage and afterwards the birth of my two daughters, together with my fascination for the pre and perinatal roam that unfolded in my work with clients, made me deepen into exploring my own early history, to find out that my “wanted” pregnancy and my “normal” birth had been full of challenges and traumatic interventions. Life as I knew it had changed.

In a womb surround workshop with Tara Blasco I experienced how ancestral imprints from two generations back had found their way through into my existence and I felt “it was time to come home to myself”.
I set off to California to train with Ray Castellino and midwife Mary Jackson. During those years of exploring my life in the womb and birth, I further deepened into my conception journey and prenatal imprints with William Emerson, I discovered Continuum Movement with Emilie Conrad and Cherionna Menzam-Sills and met Jaap Van der Wal, whose vision on embryology has a profound influence on my work.

I currently live in Spain where I have my private practice. I offer individual and family sessions and facilitate Womb Surround Process Workshops (according to Ray Castellino Training).
